Assets Declaration: CCB sensitises NOUN staff

The Codes of Conduct Bureau (CCB) has enlightened the members of staff of the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN) on the necessity of assets declaration among public officers.

The sensitisation workshop which was held on 15th December, 2021 at the university's headquarters in Jabi, Abuja, was declared open by the director, Human Resources, Mr. John J. Ubaji, on behalf of the vice-chancellor, Prof. Olufemi Peters.

While commending members of staff for their participation, Ubaji said that the essence of the workshop was "to sensitise them on how to fill the Codes of Conduct Bureau Assets Declaration Form."

The Assistant Director, Federal Public Services (FSP) Department of the Codes of Conduct Bureau (CCB), Ngozi Nwokoma, who spearheaded the workshop said that assets declaration is mandatory for all public officers, adding that NOUN staff should fill the form with great care.

The participants were given opportunity to ask questions for clarifications and their questions were attended to accordingly.
