Students of the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN) have commenced their 2021_1 e-examination exercise nationwide.

The examination, being held simultaneously at the 103 study centres across the six geopolitical zones of the country, kicked off on Monday morning.

The exercise started this morning following the conclusion of the Pen-on-Paper examination, which ended last Thursday nationwide as well.

A purely computer-based, e-exam is meant for 100 and 200 level students as well as students at other levels (including postgraduate students who have to be examined on general studies).

At commencement today, no hitch has been reported at any of the 13 study centres in the South-south region. At the time of this report, exams were going on smoothly at those centres.

At Port Harcourt Study Centre, all was calm and orderly as candidates were seen glued to their computer systems while invigilators were doing their best to ensure that students were promptly attended to whenever needs arose.
