The Unit Commander of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Ogori Magongo Command ACC. Ede Eze, along with his entourage, has paid a courtesy visit to the Community Study Centre Ogori, of the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN).

The commander and his team, who visited the centre on Friday, September 9, 2022, were received by the centre director, Dr. Caroline Aturu-Aghedo and other staff of the centre.

In her welcome address, the visibly excited director enlightened them about the Open and Distance Learning (ODL) mode of learning which the university operates.

She explained to them the beauty of studying with NOUN and its flexibility nature, discussing also the benefits of studying at a distance at one’s convenience anywhere and at his/her pace.

Eze, in his response, expressed his appreciation to the director for the warm reception granted to them, saying that he was highly impressed by the structure and facilities at the centre.

He promised to partner with the Ogori centre by encouraging his staff members to enrol as well as organise training for staff and students of the centre on how to effectively use roads to ensure safety.

The commander, however, encouraged staff of the centre to also participate in the Special Marshal programme which he said would be starting soon.
