The Director, Oka-Akoko Community Study Center of the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN), Dr. Joseph Babajide Oyadeyi and members of staff have welcomed the Oka Youth Forum (OYF), led by Comrade John Olabode.

Olabode said the forum deemed it necessary to formally welcome the director to their community and also seize the opportunity to ask questions about the NOUN.

The visiting youths then took turns to ask questions about admission, registration, payments, and others, which the director diligently answered to their satisfaction.

Oyadeji, while expressing his appreciation to the members of the forum, also intimated the guests about the educational system of the university.

He explained the modus operandi of the university as being flexible, affordable, and cost-effective, outlining the various programmes offered and the requirement needed to gain admission into the university.

He urged them to take advantage of institutions presence in their community and to enroll in any programme of their choice at the centre.

The director further appealed to the forum members to join hands with the centre management in advocating to the people of the community the benefits NOUN offers.
