The Dean, School of Postgraduate Studies, NOUN, Prof Samaila Mande, has visited Maiduguri Study Centre for the supervision and monitoring of the ongoing 2021_1 POP examination.

Mande was received by the centre director, Dr. Mohammed Yahaya, who took him round to the halls where he monitored the conduct and the general administration of the ongoing examination.

The dean was highly impressed with the smooth conduct of the examination at the centre and described it as excellent and well organized.

He extolled the students' behaviors for being orderly and complying with the rules and regulations guiding the conduct of examination and further disclosed that there was no evidence of disorder or examination irregularities recorded during his monitoring exercise.

Attributing the success and seamless nature of the examination to the centre director's excellent leadership, Mande also acknowledged that the staff of the centre were highly disciplined and cooperative with all the affairs of the National Open University of Nigeria.

"The examination is very excellent. Maiduguri Study Center is a center that is highly organized and has an excellent leadership with an academic person, Dr. Muhammad Yahya, who is a very responsive and indeed disciplined in all his affairs.

“And all the staff in the center are highly cooperative with all the affairs of  National Open University of Nigeria. There is team spirit, team working and team building in the center.

“The center is very healthy, as the students were seen up and doing and when it is time for examination, they conducted themselves very well and well-behaved from beginning to the end of the time that I was there," he said.

He called on the university management to continue to give all the necessary supports to the centre to attain greater heights.
