Students enrolment underscored as VC commissions Isua, Kishi Community Study Centres

As the university continues to witness an unprecedented level of expansion through the launching of new study centres across the country, the need to ensure a steady growth of enrolment in the new centres was emphasized.

This call was made by the NOUN Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Abdalla Uba Adamu, at the commissioning of two new community study centres at Isua of Ondo State as well as Kishi of Oyo State.

Adamu, represented at the two ceremonies by his deputy in charge of administration, Prof. Justus Sokefun, charged the Isua community to ensure enrollment of students and the protection of the facilities.

The NOUN team at the ceremony held on Friday comprised Engr. Tobi Ashaolu, representing the Director of Physical Planning; Mrs. Mafo Esuga, representing the Registrar and the Study Centre Director of Akure, Dr. Samuel Ogundiran.

The team then proceeded to Kishi Community in Oyo State, where a similar ceremony was held.

Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Administration, Prof. Justus Sokefun, represented the VC Prof. Abdalla Uba Adamu and inaugurated the centre on Saturday.

The Director, Ibadan Study Centre, Prof. Ogunleye, joined the team at the commissioning ceremony.
