"Today, you are going to elect a new set of leaders to pilot the affairs of your Association. This Association is your own; own it in word and indeed by choosing the right individuals with  good vision, great heart and ready hands, into leadership. A time like this demands such people in leadership of your Association," the VC added.

"As you conduct your elections, let there be atmosphere of peace and orderliness. The light which education gives is like a lantern on the table which shines. Let this be demonstrated in this election process and outcome," VC emphasized.
