Amini assumes office as Yenagoa Study Centre director

Clifford Moses Amini, a professor of Measurement and Evaluation at the Faculty of Education, National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN), Abuja, has assumed office as the centre director, Yenagoa Study Centre, Yenagoa, Bayelsa State.

Amini assumed duty in the coastal city of Yenagoa on Wednesday,  January 19, 2022, taking over from the immediate-past director of the centre, Dr. Mathias Jarikre.

On arrival at the centre, the new centre director was received by senior members of staff present, who also led him on facility tour of the study centre, during which he inspected the landscape, equipment and plants available at the centre.

Amini, thereafter, held an emergency meeting with all the staff of the centre.

He charged them to be committed and dedicated to duty, and to ensure that they discharge their duties with high level of discipline.

Amini further charged members of staff to take advocacy seriously to ensure that the presence of the National Open University of Nigeria is felt seriously by all and sundry in the city of Yenagoa in particular and Bayelsa State in general.
