The Chief Security Officer (CSO), National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN), Wing Commander Umar Mohammed Awe (Rtd), has visited the Jalingo and Wukari Study Centres to monitor the 2025_1 Pen-on-Paper exams, emphasising security measures to ensure a smooth and secure examination process.

During the visit, the CSO inspected the facilities at the Jalingo and Wukari Study Centres, and underscored the importance of robust security measures to safeguard lives and property.

Impressed by the centres' neatness, the CSO promised to enhance security and report centre needs to the university management.

The CSO later monitored the conduct of the ongoing 2025_1 POP examinations, assuring a smooth and secure environment for both students and staff.

He also warned security personnel that the university has a zero-tolerance policy for examination malpractice, saying that anyone caught engaging in malpractice will face the full consequences of the law.
