Kaduna centre commemorates loss of four final-year students

The Management of Kaduna Study Centre has held a special prayer session for the departed souls of its four 500-level students of Nursing and Public Health Science of the Faculty of Health Sciences, National Open University of Nigeria. 

The session was a 1-minute silence held before the commencement of today's morning examination.

The deceased are Ketah Ruth Harira Nou150613273, Nursing; Nasiru Abubakar Nou147900132, Atundaolu Modupe Sarah Nou173010866 and Rashida A. Salau of Public Health Sciences. 

Their separate deaths occurred within the period of the ongoing 2021_1 Pen-on-Paper examination and they have since being laid to rest, according to their respective beliefs. 

According to the desk officer, Faculty of Health Sciences, Mr. Nura Marafa, who spoke to NOUN News, explained that a delegation, led by the director, Kaduna study Centre, has since condoled with the bereaved families. 

The director, Dr. Aminu Umar,
condoled the families and loved ones of the deceased on the deaths of their beloved ones and prayed to God to give them the fortitude to bear the irreplaceable lost. 

In another related development, the Centre for Human Resource Development (CHRD) of the university, through the Principal Assistant Registrar, Mrs. Abimbola Esther Frank, has announced the sudden death of its staff, Mr. Ishaya Dogonyaro of security unit, who died after a brief illness at the age 50 years.
