Staff of the McCarthy study centre have showered praises on one of their students, Mrs. Irozuru Basilia Ogechukwu who participated in a skill acquisition competition held in Abuja.

Irozuru, a student of Nursing Science in the Faculty of Health Sciences of the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN), represented the study centres in Lagos, at the Product Of Research and Innovation Idea Expo 2022, held at the Eagle Square, Abuja.

It would be recalled that in 2021 she emerged as the winner on creative and innovative ideas for Global Entrepreneurship.

In her enthusiastic comments, the student declared her profound appreciation to God and the university.

"I give NOUN the credit, without them, I would not have been successful. I gained so much from the teachings and mentorship at the school," she said.

Irozuru encouraged other students to be active in their course of study and most importantly participate fully in the entrepreneurship course- GST 302.

The director of the  centre, Prof Rotimi Ogidan, congratulated Irozuru on her giant stride while also admonishing other students to emulate in becoming positive NOUN ambassadors.
