Earlier, the Acting Centre Director, Dr. Paul A. Ifeanyi, in his address, expressed his profound gratitude for the warm reception given to him and his team.

The advocacy visit to the Chief of Garki was to enlighten him and his cabinet members about the university’s programmes and what the university represents.

He narrated the importance of education and NOUN's vantage position to take education to the doorstep of every Nigerian, particularly desiring and deserving candidates.

The director further stated that education is the best gift anyone can give, stating that the worth and greatness of any nation depends on the number of her educated elites.

He also added that NOUN, in that regard, has played a vital role in bridging the gap since age, distance and creed can never be a barrier to any one that desires to learn.

The visit was crowned with the Acting Centre Director’s presentation of NOUN souvenir to the Royal Father.
