Two external examination monitoring officers, Prof. Ahmed Njidda and Prof. Christine Ofulue have visited the Maiduguri and Yola Study Centres, respectively, where they commended the process and the orderly conduct of the ongoing PoP examination.

while commending the management of Yola Study centre, led by the director, Mrs. Tiling Yelyel, for a good working relationship, Ofulue, said the measures put in place at the centre have ensured a smooth exercise, grading it as excellent.

Ofulue, who was visibly satisfied and impressed with the students' behaviours for abiding with the rules and regulations guiding the conduct examination, also said there was no case of examination irregularity recorded at the centre during her monitoring exercise.

"I think everything I found to be well organized, the environment was well organized as well. The checking- in and checking-out, and the students are well behaved, the seating arrangements are very okay. So, I think on the whole, Yola Study Centre did very well in this particular exam process," she said.

She, however, encouraged the management of the centre to continue to their best by managing the available resources deployed to them, considering the growing number of students at the centre.

On his part, Njidda, while at Maiduguri Study Centre, expressed his appreciation on the centre’s smooth conduct of the examination, describing it as orderly and well organized.

He later interacted with the students of the centre, where they complained about the policy that stopped the transfer of examination, and called on the university management to reconsider opening the window for transfer of examination centres for all visiting students.

The students also put forward their complaints on the inability to access their results in the portal after examination and other challenges they are faced with.

Responding, Njidda assured the students that their complaints would be forwarded to the relevant authority for consideration.
