NOUN to matriculate 17, 804 freshmen

About 17, 804 fresh students are set to matriculate at the 20th Ceremony of the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN) slated to hold on Saturday, 15th May, 2021.

The Matriculation Ceremony will be holding simultaneously at the 103 study centres of the university across the federation virtually.

According to the Director, Media and Publicity of the university, Mallam Ibrahim Sheme, the university will be matriculating about 17,804 students, 11,983 of which are the undergraduate and 5,821 freshmen are for the various programmes of the postgraduate across the federation.

The ceremony, he stated, will serve as a platform to formally welcome all freshmen admitted into the university for the 2020/2021 Academic Session.

The Vice-Chancellor, Prof Olufemi Peters, is expected to welcome the fresh students and matriculate them into the university.
