The Management of Badagary Study Centre, Lagos State, has played host to the Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Technology, Innovation and Research (TIR), Prof. Monioluwa Olaniyi who was at the centre to monitor the ongoing Pen-on-Paper examination.
Olaniyi was received by the director of the centre, Dr.Julius Eyanuku, who expressed delight at her visit and later took her around the examination halls for inspection.
The DVC said she was impressed at seeing the first examination being conducted in a quiet atmosphere and adequately organised.
She congratulated the director on the first examination session at the study centre as she was satisfied with the conduct of the examination, advising on some essential guidance and regulations relating to the examination.
Olaniyi commended the cooperation of staff of the centre towards a successful examination and the study centre.
The visiting DVC also inspected the additional proposed land behind the centre for subsequent development.
On his part, Ayanuku used the opportunity to implore the university’s management to assign additional administrative officers and ICT staff to the centre as the workloads continue to increase.
