The Sapele Community Study Centre of the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN), has taken its advocacy campaign of NOUN's flagship mode of instructional delivery, Open and Distance Learning (ODL), to the Magistrate Court, Sapele, Delta State.
Leading members of staff of the study centre on the advocacy visit, the centre director, Dr. Anthony Kaine, intimated the assistant director of the court, Mrs. Roseline Ojeje, on the purpose of the visit and explained the activities of NOUN to her and her team.
Kaine explained the benefits of enrolling at NOUN, the vision of the university, its credibility and the advantages it has over conventional institutions.
The director also explained the criteria for securing admission into the institution, available courses, admission processes, mode of payment, registration, mode of instructional delivery and on-line facilitation, among other things.
Ojeje, who accorded the NOUN delegation a warm welcome, thanked Kaine for choosing her establishment for the enlightenment visit and promised to encourage members of staff of the court to take advantage of the opportunity provided by the university to upgrade and update their academic qualifications for a rewarding career in the judiciary.
