The Faculty of Sciences’ Laboratory Practicals for 2022_2 has continued to gather momentum across zones as the exercise in the ancient city of Sokoto State takes centre stage.
Sokoto Study Centre of the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN) is hosting students of the centre for the practical exercise expected to last for two weeks.
The exercise, being organised by the faculty, covers courses as Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Computer Science.
In a chat with NOUN News, the director of the centre Mr. A. A. Tanko, stated that the practical is important to students as it gives them the technical know- how of what they might have learned in theory.
Tanko added that the impact of the practical on students is that they would be able to demonstrate the practical knowledge of the subject matter.
Above all, the director maintained, the practical is one of the basic requirements to be fulfilled by the science students before graduation.
The director assured that study centre will provide effective and conducive atmosphere for the exercise.
