With profound sadness, the death has been announced of Princess Lydia Adetoun Adewoyin, (Nee Adedire).
The late Princess Adewoyin was the beloved mother of Mr. Adebiyi Adewoyin, Special Adviser to the Vice-Chancellor of the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN), who is also the TETFund Desk Officer of the institution.
The deceased hailed from Ile-Ife, Osun State.
Princess Lydia Adetoun Adewoyin transited to eternal glory on Thursday, December 25, 2025, aged 82.
The final burial rites have been scheduled to hold on February 5 and 6, 2026 by God's grace, as Service of Songs/Wake Keep holds on Thursday, February 5, 2026 by 5pm at Canon Ajibola Memorial Anglican Church, Igboya Street, Ile-Ife.
Interment Service at The Cathedral Church of St. Philips, Aiyetoro, Ile-Ife will take place on Friday, February 6, 2026 at 11.00am.
However, reception will take place at Iyeru Ideal Event Centre, Parakin Obalufe, Ile-Ife.
