The National Open University of Nigeria Alumni Association (NOUNAA), Bauchi State Chapter, has donated over 100 notebooks to incoming alumni members across study centres in the state.
The donation was made in honour of the graduates of 2026 Convocation Ceremony .
While presenting the items, the Chairman of the Bauchi State Chapter, Comrade Muktar Muhammad Mahmud, said the gesture was aimed at engaging new members in the activities of the association.
Comrade Mahmud revealed that the Bauchi alumni will soon embark on a sensitisation tour across various communities and organisations.
The tour, according to him, will highlight the benefits of studying at NOUN, including its flexibility and exceptional courses compared to other universities.
Receiving the items, the Bauchi Study Centre Director, Dr. Madu Baba Galadima, congratulated the newly-elected executive and commended them for their foresight.
He described the commencement of the advocacy tour as encouraging and promised to support the alumni in moving the university forward.
