CEMGS to hold sensitisation workshop on migration

The Centre of Excellence in Migration and Global Studies (CEMGS), National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN), has concluded arrangement to sensitise the university community about the pressing and emerging challenges of migration in the country.

This is contained in a memo issued on Tuesday, February 6, 2024 and signed by the Senior Assistant Registrar (SAR), Mrs. Blessing Alabi on behalf of the CEMGS director, Prof. Gloria O. Anetor.

According to the memo, the sensitisation workshop is billed to hold on Monday, February 19, 2024, at the University Library, NOUN headquarters, Jabi Abuja at 9: 00 am.

The workshop, organised in collaboration with Civil Society National Network on Migration and Development (CSOnetMADE) themed “Current Migration Issues in Nigeria,” is aimed at “sensitizing and creating awareness about issues of migration as they affect the people and the nation.”

According to Anetor, the workshop shall feature panel as well as interactive sessions which consist of primary persons and collaborative partners in the migration space.
