In an effort to ensure they compete with other community and mega centres across the country,  the Gwarzo Community Study Centre, Kano State, has taken its campaign to public establishment, commercial centres and streets of Gwarzo Local Government Area of the state.

NOUN News gathered from a Database Administrator of the centre, Nura Mohammed Abdullahi, who led the campaign team that the outing was a huge success.

Abdullahi explained that Gwarzo centre is one of the centres established in 2021, which informed the need to jark up campaigns in order to record massive students enrollment at the centre.

The centre, according to him, is working tirelessly to contribute its quota towards fulfilling the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Olufemi Peters' goal of ensuring the university continues to record massive enrollment.

He added that this would not be feasible without adequately furnishing the community with information about the existence and the bountiful benefits to harness when enrolled in NOUN.

The database administrator further stated that NOUN is the university of the moment, a 21st Century university that provides equal educational opportunities to everyone in the community, irrespective of his social or economic status.

The campaign which was a road show started from the street of local government secretariat to the secretariat, then Gwarzo market and ended in Gwarzo general hospital.

The campaign has recorded a lot of success as it made contact with those who lacked adequate knowledge of the NOUN and were furnished with the needed information. said team lead.

The team lead promised to continue with the project beyond the local government headquarters but to other towns, villages and hamlets in the area.

The team was comprised of the leader, Nura Mohammed Abdullahi, Ibrahim Halilu Getso and Shamsuddeen Muhammad.
