The Director, Africa Centre of Excellence on Technology Enhanced Learning (ACETEL), Prof. Grace Jokthan has charged its sectorial partner Globacom Network to extend its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in awarding scholarships to students.
Jokthan stated this during the presentation of houses and cars to the network's subscribers, held on December 9, 2022 at the Prime Rose Estate, Galadimawa, FCT , Abuja.
The director, in her remarks, preached the message of National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN), adding that NOUN is the largest university in West Africa with the highest student population and flexible mode of learning.
She highlighted the modus operandi of NOUN-ACETEL.
Jokthan alongside Prof. Smah Ameh of the Department of Criminology and Security Studies, Faculty of Social Sciences of NOUN, represented NOUN-ACETEL at the event.
Globacom Network is a sectorial partner to NOUN-ACTEL and has been working seamlessly with the centre.
