Lagos Mainland Study Centre 1 holds virtual orientation for new students

The Management of Lagos Mainland Study Centre 1, National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN), has held a virtual orientation programme for the newly-admitted students of the 2024_1 academic session.

The director of the centre, Prof. Ofe I. Inua, in her welcome address, lectured the students on a brief history of NOUN and the mode of instructional delivery.

Inua advised the freshers to be of good behaviour, discipline and concentrate on their academic activities for tomorrow's success.

She also urged the students to desist from any act that would lead to the withdrawal of their studentship.

With over 200 students in attendance, questions and answers session was held where clarifications on the grey areas in the modus operandi of the university were given instantly and accordingly.

The virtual programme witnessed the presence of the heads of unit who made various presentations on the system, process and other academic activities of the university.
