Okpala tours Benin, Asaba Centres for exams monitoring

The University Librarian, National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN), Dr. Angela Okpala, on Friday, May 17, 2024 embarked on a tour of Benin and Asaba Study Centres in Edo and Delta states respectively to monitor the ongoing 2024_1 PoP exams.

Okpala, during her visit, observed the measures put in place for checking in the students and directing them to their respective halls.

In a chat with the NOUN News correspondent, the librarian stated that exams at NOUN are conducted with a focus on upholding academic integrity and maintaining the credibility of certifications issued by the institution.  

She expressed her appreciation to directors of the two centres on  their efforts in putting in place effective and efficient search procedures as well as properly organised exam halls to curb exams malpractice and ensure hitch-free exercise.

Okpala was warmly received by the directors of both centres, Dr. Akeem Disu and Mr. Adebayo Yusuf, respectively along with their members of staff.
