The Fagge Community Study Centre of the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN), Kano, has strengthened its examination management strategies for the 2026_1 e-examination, with a focus on ensuring a smooth, credible, and student-friendly exercise.
The enhanced measures were evident in the centre’s comprehensive pre-examination and post-examination arrangements, which prioritised strict adherence to the university’s zero-tolerance policy on examination malpractice, effective technical support, and efficient crowd management.
Speaking on the preparations, the Study Centre Director, Dr. Kamalu Al’kasim, reaffirmed the centre’s commitment to the strict implementation of all University regulations and examination guidelines.
To guarantee a hitch-free examination process, the centre put in place several strategic measures ahead of the commencement of the exercise.
These included the provision of adequate water and sanitation facilities, strengthened security surveillance, organised parking arrangements, and rigorous screening and verification of students’ identities before granting access to the e-examination hall.
Additional measures included the strict enforcement of examination rules and regulations, deployment of ICT support personnel to address technical challenges, and the maintenance of a conducive environment for candidates throughout the examination period.
Dr. Al’kasim emphasised that the centre remains dedicated to upholding academic integrity while providing students with the support and environment necessary for academic success.
He assured parents, students, and other stakeholders that the Fagge Community Study Centre would continue to align with NOUN’s standards of excellence, quality assurance, and credibility in the conduct of examinations.
