
The new Director, Bauchi Study Centre, National Open Univeristy of Nigeria (NOUN), Dr. Madu Galadima has assured stakeholders of his commitment to enhancing the centre's advocacy efforts and infrastructure development.
Galadima revealed this in his speech shortly after assuming duty on Monday, May 5, 2025, where he replaced Hauwa Dede, the erstwhile director.
During his inagural visit, Galadima inspected the centre's facilities and pledged to introduce several initiatives to improve the learning environment, which include installing free WiFi internet connection for both staff and students and solar inverters to address electricity challenges.
The new director also promised to equip the auditorium with modern facilities such as a public address system, projector, white screen board and air conditioners for the centre's activities and which can also be rented out to generate revenue for the centre.
Galadima emphasised the importance of commitment, cordial working relationships, and maintaining a professional image.
He encouraged staff to be educated and take advantage of his open-door policy for complaints, feedback and suggestions.
