The North-east Incubation Centre Il, Bagoro, National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN), has adopted the physical GST 302 presentation in the  2024_2  business proposal defense for its students at the region.

The exercise, which took place on Thursday, November 28, 2024 at the centre,  engaged students physically due to the low turn out of students in the virtual setting.

Consequently, the exercise was coordinated by Mr. Ibrahim Ezra Shehu.

The Ag. Coordinator added that the presentation could be taken either virtually or physically and the interaction with the students, according to him, indicated some level of comfortability by the students presenting physically.

This, he said, has  limited the chances of cheating and impersonation by some students.

Ezra said the comparative advantages of physical setting also increases the level of the interaction with students by eliminating the issue of poor network service during the presentation.

The students from  Bauchi Study Centre had on Tuesday, December 2, 2024 and Wednesday, December 3, 2024, presented their idea proposals/defense at the centre physically.

The virtual setting was first introduced at the centre where students from the region join via zoom link from the incubation center's headquarters, Bagoro, Bauchi state, to make their presentations.

The Business Creation & Growth (GST 302) was designed to nurture young entrepreneurs with focus on creativity, ideas and innovations.
