The 39th Inaugural Lecture of the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN) has been scheduled to take place on Thursday, April 30, 2026 at the university headquarters in Abuja.
It will be delivered by Professor Wilfred N.J Ugwuanyi, Professor of Banking and Finance, Department of Financial Studies, Faculty of Management Sciences of the university.
Ugwuanyi will present on the topic: “Technological Innovations and Informal Financial Institutions: Implications for Economic Devevlopment Amidst Cultural Diversity in Nigeria.”
The lecture will take place at the Convocation Arena of NOUN, Jabi, Abuja by 3.00pm prompt.
The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Uduma Oji Uduma, is going to be the Chief Host at the event.
