The 39th Inaugural Lecture of the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN) has been scheduled to take place on Thursday, March 26, 2026 at the university headquarters in Abuja.
It will be delivered by Professor Akoji Ocheja, Professor of Forensic Criminalistics, Department of Criminology and Security Studies, Faculty of Social Sciences of the university.
Ocheja will present on the topic: "Animism in the Nigerian Security
Question: Tradition and Modernity Pari Passu.”
The lecture will take place at the Conference Centre of NOUN, Jabi, Abuja by 11am.
The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Uduma Oji Uduma, is going to be the Chief Host at the event.
