NOUNAA donates solar street lights to Benin Study Centre

The National Open University of Nigeria Alumni Association (NOUNAA) has recently donated solar lights to the Benin Study Centre of the university.

Chief Okechukwu Lawrence, the National Public Relations Officer of the association, who presented the items to the centre director, Dr. Akeem Disu, on behalf of NOUNAA's National President, Muntaka Hadi-Dabo, said that the initiative was a token of appreciation for the role played by the university in the realisation of their academic pursuits.

Disu, while receiving the donation on behalf of the NOUN Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Olufemi Peters, expressed appreciation for the gesture and stated that the introduction of solar lights would definitely enhance the illumination of the study centre particularly at night.
