The Vice-Chancellor, National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN), Prof.Olufemi Peters, has led management members to the site of the ongoing construction project of Ikorodu Model Study Centre, Itamaga, Lagos State, for inspection.

The team, alongside the study centre team led by its director, Prof. Saheed Ajibola, moved to the site and met the engineers, where they critically inspected the internal and external work of the two standard structures.

Peters, speaking with his team, commented on the pace of the work, saying that the project work was given six to seven months to be completed in order to manage the cost.

The VC added that the project should be completed by the end of March this year, as they had a plan of revisiting to accommodate any necessary adjustment on the structure.

Some of the notable suggestions made during the visit pertained to the parking lot, pavement, gutter and floor slabbing.

The construction site has the capacity of two large buildings, security office, wide parking lot and external walk ways.
