Tanglang, Osoba to assume new offices as Okoli, Onwodi recalled to faculties

The Vice-Chancellor, National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN), Prof. Olufemi Peters, has approved certain changes in the leadership of some study centres of the university.

The changes will see Prof. Nebath Tanglang of the Faculty of Education, Department of Human Kinetics, assuming office as the new Director, Abuja Model Study Centre, Dutse-Alhaji, Abuja, while Prof. Babatunde Osoba, former Dean, Faculty of Management Sciences will assume office as the Director, Wuse II Study Centre.

The appointments, conveyed in a memo dated January 30, 2024 titled: Staff Movements Announcementand signed by the Registrar, Mr. Oladipo Ajayi, said the duo’s appointment is with immediate effect.

This is part of Management’s ongoing efforts to enhance and streamline the university’s delivery processes.

Management appreciates the invaluable services rendered by Prof. Grace Okoli and Dr. Gregory Onwodi during their time in their previous positions. However, their roles are hereby withdrawn and they are hereby withdrawn and they are hereby recalled to their respective faculties.

Management is of the hope that they will continue to avail the university of their services whenever their expertise is required,” the memo said.
