
The Management of Isanlu Community Study Centre of the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN), Kogi State, has taken its advocacy campaign to the secretariat of Yagba East Local Government Area to shore up its enrollment level.
The team led by the Acting Centre Director, Mr. Amusan Kunle, explained the unique mode of the university's operation which is the Open and Distance Learning mode of education (ODL).
Kunle further explained the advantages of ODL mode of learning, which, according to him, NOUN remains the university offering students the ease of study due to its flexibility and cost-effectiveness.

On her part, Mrs. Victoria A. Ebute, a Senior Assistant Registrar (SAR), briefed the workers on the available programmes in the undergraduate, masters and Ph.D. levels.
Earlier, on their arrival the advocacy team was received by the secretary to the Executive Chairman, Honorable Joshua Dare Monday.
The secretary, while welcoming them, appreciated the team for their visit and enlightenment and acknowledged that some of their staff are already students with the centre.
Monday assured the visiting NOUN team of doing all within their scope towards mobilising their staff on the need to upscale their education qualifications using the opportunity provided by NOUN.
