The National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN) will on Saturday, January 30th, 2021 hold its combined 9th and 10th virtual convocation ceremony, where about 32,651 postgraduate and undergraduate students are expected to graduate.
Out of the total number, 24,300 are students from the 2020 graduation batch, while the remaining 8,351 make up the 2021 successful students who finished their various courses of study in the university.
The ceremony will however be preceded by the convocation lecture on Friday, January 29, to be delivered by Prof. Olumide Babatope Longe, Chair-Department of Information Systems, American University of Nigeria, Yola, Adamawa State.
He will discuss on the topic: What if we are not Alone?: The Intensification of Surveillance and its Impacts on the Economics of Cybercrimes, via the virtual address https://www.convocation.nouedu2.net by 10am.
In a convocation advertisement published in some national dailies, which was signed by the Registrar, Mr. Felix I. Edoka, graduands, parents/guardians, friends of the university and the general public were reminded that “the combined Convocation Ceremony will be held virtually.”
On Saturday, January 30th, 2021 the award of Bachelor degrees, postgraduate Diplomas, Master and Doctorate degrees will be held via the virtual address https://www.convocation.nouedu2.net
