Apapa centre director visits Naval Training Command

The Director, Special Study Centre for the Nigerian Navy, Dr. (Mrs.) Ofe I. Inua has paid a courtesy visit to the Flag Officer Commanding (FOC), Naval Training Command, Apapa, Rear Admiral K. A. Lawal.

The director, in her presentation, highlighted the various programmes offered by NOUN that would be of immense benefit and interest to the Naval Officers and Ratings.

She also informed the FOC and other senior officers present that NOUN was open to collaboration in academic programmes with the Navy.

The FOC, in his response, thanked the NOUN team for the visit, pointing out that he was very impressed with the issue of collaboration, and dewscribed it as “worth exploring.”

The meeting, which took place at the conference room of the FOC, was attended by high-ranking Naval Officers and an entourage from the centre, which included the SAR, Mrs. Irene Idahosa, the Principal Accountant, Mr. Tunde Ojediran and an ICT staff, Mrs. Ify Ekeh.

There was also an exchange of souvenirs between the FOC and the visiting director of the centre.
