
The Management of Awa-Ijebu Community Study Centre, National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN), has taken its advocacy campaign to Ijebu-Ode Local Government office, Ogun State.
The visit was primarily to intimate and educate the local government staff about the university's Open and Distance Learning (ODL) mode of instructional delivery and assist prospective learners with the mode of enrollment.
The visit was headed by the Centre Director, Dr. Olufunke Osikomaiya, along with the heads of unit who, upon arrival, were warmly received by the Council Chairman, Hon.Dare. Alebiosu.
The Chairman, who incidentally is a student of Political Science at the centre, took them on a tour and introduced the team to the various departments, while encouraging the staff members to enrol in NOUN.
The director, in her remarks, disclosed the impacts of studentship in the university especially to the public workers.
Questions on admission and registration processes were answered to the satisfaction of the audience.
