Oka-Akoko Centre collaborates with CBT centres to streamline admission process

The National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN), Oka-Akoko Community Study Centre, has collaborated with two Computer-Based Test (CBT) centres in Akoko-land to facilitate a seamless admission process for prospective students.

Led by the Centre Director, Dr. Joseph Babajide Oyadeyi, the NOUN team visited Opeoluwa CBT at Ikare and Adekunle Ajasin University (AAUA) in Akungba-Akoko to discuss the new admission procedure.

The collaboration, according to the director, aims to create a dedicated unit at the CBT centres to expedite the registration process, ensure affordable processing fees and establish direct lines of communication for further inquiries.

Six prospective students were promptly registered on the JAMB portal during the visit, demonstrating the effectiveness of the new procedure.

The CBT centres expressed their commitment to supporting NOUN in its initiatives, underscoring a promising collaboration that could facilitate greater educational access for prospective students.

The Managing Director of OpeOluwa CBT, Prof. Faloye O. D., expressed his willingness to collaborate with NOUN, providing an overview of the operational system in place.

Director of the Management Information System (MIS) at AAUA, Mrs. R. T. Olotuah,  affirmed her centre's commitment to supporting NOUN, in line with with the collaboration between the two institutions.
