Prof. Okebukola attends wedding of education minister’s daughter in Azare

Pro-Chancellor and Chairman, Governing Council of the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN), Prof. Peter Okebukola (OFR) was one of the thousands of guests who witnessed the wedding ceremony of the daughter of the Hon. Minister of Education, Mallam Adamu Adamu at the Azare town of Bauchi State.

Also present at the event, which took place at the weekend, was the former Vice-Chancellor of NOUN, Prof. Abdalla Uba Adamu, NUC Executive Secretary, Prof. Abubakar Adamu Rasheed, JAMB Registrar, Prof. Ishaq Oloyede, former CEO of the NTI, Prof. Garba Dahuwa Azare as well as other top dignitaries.

 

Okebukola at Kano centre

 

The Council’s chairman also took time off shortly after the wedding to visit some study centres in Kano. He was at the Kano Study Centre; Fagge and Dawankin Tofa Community Study Centres.

At Kano Study Centre, Prof. Okebukola, was warmly received by the acting centre director, Mr. Muddasir Ahmad Ishaq and some technical staffers of the centre. 

Later, the special guest was taken round the facilities of the centre for inspection. 

He showed his impression with the way the centre is being managed.
