
The Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Administration, Prof. Shehu Usman Adamu and the Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Technology, Innovation and Research (TIR), Prof. Christine Ofulue, have paid a familiarisation visit to the National Open University Information and Call Centre (NICC) to ramp up student support.
The duo, who was warmly received by NICC staff, expressed appreciation for the University Management’s continued commitment to innovation and excellence in student support.
However, they reiterated the Vice-Chancellor’s vision of ensuring seamless assistance for every NOUN student from registration to graduation.
They further commended the staff of the centre for their dedication, and urged them to embrace service excellence.
In her response, the Head NICC, Ms. Wosilatu Ainodion, warmly welcomed both Deputy Vice-Chancellors and expressed deep appreciation for the time taken from their busy schedules to visit and interact with her team.

Ainodion also congratulated the DVCs on their appointments to their esteemed positions, noting the unwavering support that NICC had continually received from the Vice-Chancellor in carrying out its responsibilities.
“ I respectfully expressed hope for the same level of support from your offices, “ she added.
She thanked them for their words of encouragement and pledged NICC’s commitment to continue working diligently to deliver quality services, ensuring that students enjoy a fulfilling educational experience at NOUN.
Meanwhile, she highlighted the essence of NICC, which is to ensure student satisfaction at all times, emphasising the importance of every student being heard. Some of the team’s challenges were also shared.
