NOUN’s 36th Inaugural Lecture series holds September 4

The 36th Inaugural Lecture of the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN) has been scheduled to take place on Thursday, September 4, 2025 at the university headquarters in Abuja.

It will be delivered by Professor Monioluwa O. Olaniyi, professor of Nematology, Faculty of Science of the institution.

Olaniyi will present on the topic: "Managing Plant Worm Adversaries:  Safeguarding the Environment, Sustaining our Daily Bread.”

The lecture will take place at the Conference Centre of NOUN, Jabi, Abuja, by 11.00am.

The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Olufemi Peters, is going to be the Chief Host at the event.
