DVC administration monitors exam at Bauchi Study Centre

The Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Administration, National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN), Prof. Issac Butswat, has, on Tuesday, April 27, 2023 visited the Bauchi Study Centre where he monitored the conduct and general administration of the ongoing 2023_1 POP examination.

The DVC was received by the acting centre director, Mrs. Hauwa Dede and other senior centre staff, who took him round to monitor the ongoing examination, and inspected the physical structures, touring some facilities and staff offices.

Butswat expressed satisfaction with the smooth conduct of the exercise and commended the centre director on his commitment and determination in ensuring a hitch-free and seamless exercise.

He applauded the students’ behaviour for adhering to the rules and regulations guiding the conduct of the examination and further appreciated the disclosure from the centre director that no cases of examination malpractice occurred since the commencement of the exercise.

The management of the centre has also received the visiting DVC’s commendation for harmonious working relationship and urged them to keep the flag flying and continue moving the centre forward.

After a brief discussion with the management of the centre where they voiced out some of their challenges concerning the exams and other issues, the DVC assured them that his assessment on the situation of the centre would be reported to the management of the university for further consideration.
