The Abuja Model Study Centre of the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN) has perfected plans to hold a maiden ‘Student Week’ as a way of bringing the centre’s students even closer as well as taking the advocacy drive a step further.

A letter jointly signed by the Chairman, Planning Committee, Kingsley Arogunyo and the Secretary of the committee, Augusta Amaami, it said the packed edition will commence on the 25 of October and will climaxed on the 29 of October, 2021 at the premises of the centre, Dutse Alhaji, Abuja.

The study centre, which is the largest in the whole Northern Nigeria, the letter continued, is organising the event “in a bid to give her students (the) opportunity to socialise and also as (a) way of advocacy. The event…promises to be educative and entertaining.”

Some of the lined up activities are: Public Lecture/Symposia, Spelling Bee & Quiz, Cultural Day, Indoor Games, Football Competition and Health Talks/Medical Outreach.
