The Librarian of the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN), Dr. Angela Ebele Okpala, has described the conduct and administration of the 2025_1 Pen-on-Paper (PoP) exam as excellent.

She stated this on Wednesday, June 11, 2025 while monitoring the conduct of PoP exam at the Enugu Study Centre, Enugu State.

While describing the processes and procedures for administration of exams as meticulous, Okpala also observed that the students' sitting arrangements were orderly and well-spaced, thus giving no room for exam malpractices.

The University Librarian also observed that the exam hall was well-ventilated and illuminated, stressing that the entire environment was neat and conducive for the administration of exams.

She described the Centre Director, Prof. Charity Akuadi Okonkwo, as diligent and the eyes of the institution in ensuring the university management's policies and mission are well-implemented at the centre.

Okpala commended Okonkwo for her exemplary leadership style of not delegating sensitive duties such as printing of exams questions as a Centre Director thereby avoiding exams question leakages.

Speaking on the centre's staff, the university librarian commended them for their promptness, sheer commitment and doggedness towards ensuring a smooth exam exercise.

She acknowledged some areas that need the management’s intervention such as solar panel, sumo water pump and plumbing work, as well as a new operational vehicle.
