The Africa Centre of Excellence on Technology Enhanced Learning (ACETEL), National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN), has commenced applications for admission into its postgraduate degree programmes and professional short courses for the 2026 academic cycle.
The World Bank-supported Centre is inviting qualified candidates to apply for its Master of Science (MSc) and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) programmes in Artificial Intelligence, Cyber Security, and Management Information Systems (MIS).
In addition to its postgraduate programmes, ACETEL is offering a broad range of industry-focused professional short courses designed to equip participants with practical skills in digital and emerging technologies.
The courses cover key areas such as networking, cybersecurity, Linux, programming, automation, DevOps, cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes, container orchestration, Infrastructure as Code, and advanced CI/CD and DevSecOps practices.
According to the centre, the programmes are designed to meet the growing demand for highly skilled professionals capable of addressing emerging challenges in digital transformation, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, cloud computing, network administration, software automation, and information systems management.
Applications opened on Monday, July 20, 2026, and will close on Friday, August 14, 2026. Prospective candidates are encouraged to complete their applications within the stipulated period through the ACETEL online application portal at https://acetelonline.nou.edu.ng�.
