As the ongoing 2026_1 E-Examinations gather momentum across the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN) Study Centres nationwide, the Dutse and Hadejia Study Centres have reported smooth, orderly, and hitch-free conduct of the exercise.
Speaking with NOUN News, the Director of the Dutse Study Centre, Dr. Ahmad Tanimu Mahmud, disclosed that the examinations have progressed seamlessly, with no challenges threatening the successful administration of the exercise.
He attributed the achievement to the unwavering commitment and dedication of staff members, who have remained steadfast in adhering to the university’s examination guidelines and regulations.
According to him, strict compliance with established procedures is essential for preserving the integrity of the examination process and upholding the high academic standards for which NOUN is renowned.
“All hands are on deck, and every staff member is fully committed to ensuring the success of the university,” Mahmud stated.
Commenting on student enrollment, he noted that the Centre continues to experience steady growth, recording significant increases in student numbers with each academic session.
Similarly, the Hadejia Community Study Centre has recorded remarkable success in the conduct of the ongoing examinations, with activities proceeding smoothly and without disruption.
The Centre Director, Dr. Ibrahim Garba Gwammaja, informed NOUN News that the examinations are being conducted under effective supervision and coordination, ensuring compliance with the university’s standards and procedures.
He commended members of staff for their resilience, commitment, and unwavering dedication to placing the interests of NOUN above all else.
In addition to the successful conduct of the examinations, Gwammaja highlighted several infrastructural improvements undertaken by the Centre. These include the construction of a modern female washroom for the convenience of staff and students, the replacement of all windows in the POP examination hall, the installation of new computer power sockets, and the provision of an Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) system to guarantee uninterrupted operations.
The atmosphere at both Centres reflects discipline, focus, and academic excellence, underscoring NOUN’s commitment to delivering credible, technology-driven, and student-friendly examinations across the country.
