Advocacy: Kaduna Universal Basic Education Board appeals for more sensitization Campaign


The Kaduna State Universal Basic Education Board has appealed to the National Open University of Nigeria for more sensitization programmes on both teaching and non-teaching staff of the Board.

This statement was contained in a speech delivered  by the Permanent Member, school management Kaduna State Universal Basic Education Board, Mr. Samaila Liman, when a high powered delegation of Kaduna Study Centre led by its director, Mr. Yusuf Abdullahi, who were on advocacy campaign visited the Board.

At maiden lecture, Peters pledges support for NOUNAA


The Vice-Chancellor, National open university of Nigeria, NOUN, Prof. Olufemi Peters has pledged his full support for the activities of the National open university of Nigeria Alumni Association, NOUNAA.

Peters in his remarks stressed the important role Alumni plays in building of any institution, and said he hopes that the university will later leverage on the support of the Alumni in the future to build the university. 

Lagos Study Centre Holds Orientation Exercise for New Students


The Lagos Study Centre of the National Open University of Nigeria, NOUN, has held an orientation and staff/student interactive session at the centre.

The orientation which took place on the 31st of March 2022 was well attended by newly admitted students and some old students who wanted to witness how the exercise is done as they were not part of the last one.

NOUN to hold 19th Inaugural Lecture


The 19th Inaugural Lecture series of the National Open University (NOUN) will take place on Tuesday, April 5, 2022.

It will be delivered by Professor of Economics, Ganiyat Adejoke Adesina Uthman, at the Convocation Arena, NOUN headquarters, Abuja.

The lecture will take place by 11.00am with the topic: What has Finance Got to Do with It?
