Advocacy: Mushin centre woos LUTH nursing staff


The Advocacy team at the Mushin Study Century has paid a courtesy call on the Nursing Services Department, Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH), to educate the nurses on the benefits of studying at the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN).

Director of the centre, Dr. Yemisi Ogunlela, expressed her profound gratitude to the head of the departmental for the warm reception, and explained the import of the visit, which was to honour the request of the department to the centre.

Secondary school principal vows to personally lead advocacy campaign for NOUN


The Principal, Enoghi Secondary School, Ikom, Cross River State, Mr. Nicholas Egom Ogar, has pledged to personally lead the advocacy campaign of the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN) in his community and its environs.

Ogar, who made the undertaking in his welcome address to the NOUN advocacy campaign delegation to his school on Tuesday, 28 September, 2021, expressed great delight at the visit and commended the management of the university in Ikom for extending the sensitisation exercise to his school.

Recently, the former Head of the Department of Mass Communication, National Open University of Nigeria, Dr. Chidinma Henrietta Onwubere, on her own volition, took an advocacy campaign to her church, the Church of Holy Trinity, Lugbe Archdeaconry, Kubwa Diocese of Abuja, to create awareness about NOUN activities in her church during the youth harvest programme.
